Meet our Founder & Venetian Plaster Specialist, Stephen Carlier.
Stephen lives and breathes Carlier & Co. His passion for the industry, our clients, suppliers and all involved in Carlier & Co is evident in all that he does.
Keeping with family tradition, Stephen Carlier, Founder and Venetian Plaster Specialist of Carlier & Co was trained as a traditional solid plasterer in the countryside of Surrey, England. Specialising in restoration and remodification, he has contributed significantly to the restorative efforts of manors and many other heritage-listed buildings. This has provided Stephen with a unique skill-set and well-developed knowledge within the industry.
Stephen brings positive energy and laughter in all of his interactions and on-site to each project. His motto: ‘You don’t need to be serious; to be taken seriously.’

Meet our Director, Alaina Carlier
With a background in operations, sales and group management, Alaina has amassed knowledge in project management, acquisitions and functional workplaces, underpinned by her commitment to research.
Her strength is developing symbiotic relationships with clients. Alaina embraces the opportunity to actively engage clients in the design and planning process, resulting in an authentic collaborative process that achieves innovative solutions, unique to every project.
Through effective communication and management, Alaina successfully orchestrates each aspect of a project, from inception, planning, briefing and design to construction administration.
